To know which genre audience is most likely to watch with interest, they were given options. We found that there were equal votes for Drama, Comedy and Romantic films.

Since we intended to produce a Drama film, it was important to gain feedback from the audience about which sub-genre do they enjoy watching with Drama.

Second most voted sub-genre being ‘Tragedy’, it was essential to know how much impact does such films cause to its audience on which majority voted ‘8’; to a great extent.

Since Drama being the most considered genre of the film, audience were asked about their favorite Drama film and whether the main character was a male or female. Majority responses named ‘Central Intelligence’ as their Favorite film which revolved around a Male character.

Films plot was considered to base upon social realism drama, therefore it was crucially important to know whether audience was familiar with this idea or not.

To explore more about audiences interest in our films prospective storyline, it was asked whether they believe in existence of male victims of domestic abuse/violence or not? Majority answered in agreement.

This Question was directed towards people who were confused with their opinions on this particular social issue, to make it easier for them to figure out it was asked ‘is it the over-projection of Female victims of domestic violence/abuse the reason behind overshadowing of male victims’ to which majority said ‘maybe’ and second most voted option was in agreement.

At the end of the survey to gain inspiration from real life experiences of the respondents, they were asked if they ever noticed any male victim of emotional/verbal/physical domestic abuse, if they did they were asked to briefly mention the experiences to which majority responded that they haven’t reason being that ‘it it so well concealed owing to the stigma attached with it’, while others said that they have, mostly verbal abuse by female partners over financial strains and crisis. Few said that ‘it is all bookish and doesn’t exist’
